Who We Are
About Us
The Center for Advancing Health Systems Innovations (CAdHSI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening health systems with a specific focus on health workforce development as a foundational pillar for improving health outcomes. Through program implementation and research, we provide technical support and evidence-based solutions to build a skilled and resilient health workforce that meets community health needs globally. Our work helps policymakers institutionalize community health within broader health systems, ensuring sustainable prevention, disease control, and response mechanisms.
CAdHSI employs a health systems-building block approach, emphasizing health workforce development as a critical component of health system resilience in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) and underserved United States (U.S.) communities. Our work focuses on developing a skilled and sustainable health workforce, enhancing institutional capacity, and leveraging data-driven solutions to inform policies and drive system-wide improvements.
We bridge lessons learned between LMICs and the U.S., leveraging evidence-based solutions, strategic partnerships, and technology-driven innovations to build sustainable, resilient health systems. Through health workforce training, institutional capacity-building, implementation research, and digital tools, we create scalable solutions that enhance epidemic preparedness, workforce retention, and equitable access to quality care.
In LMICs, we strengthen health systems by scaling primary healthcare, enhancing disease surveillance, and building workforce capacity to combat epidemic-prone diseases. We integrate digital health solutions and strategic partnerships to improve resilience and inform policy through evidence-based research.
In the U.S. we expand workforce capacity, strengthen emergency preparedness, and drive policy reforms to address health disparities in underserved communities, including low-income neighborhoods, rural areas, and local health systems. We work to combat communicable and non-communicable diseases through research, awareness, and advocacy to ensure equitable healthcare and improved health outcomes.
