OUR SOFT LAUNCH EVENT
On March 6th, 2024, we had the privilege of hosting the soft launch of the Center for Advancing Health Systems Innovations (CAdHSI) at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA. This event marked a significant milestone in our mission to enhance health systems across low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

We were honored by the presence of several notable figures, including the Minister of Health, Liberia, the AU Ambassador to the US, Hilda Suka Mafudze, the Liberian Ambassador to the USA, and Prof Marie Diener-West, Chair of the MPH Program at Johns Hopkins. Earlier, we also had a statement from the President of Liberia, H.E., President Joseph Boakai in recognition of this event.Their participation underscored the importance of our mission and the collaborative spirit necessary for health systems innovation.

Keynote Speech:

Our guest speaker, Ambassador Hilda Suka-Mafudze, delivered an inspiring address on "Revolutionizing Global Health: Unleashing the Power of NGOs through Collaborative Innovation and Partnerships for Health Systems Advancement in the African Continent." Her insights set the tone for the day's discussions and highlighted the critical role of partnerships in driving health improvements.

Panel Discussions:

The event featured thought-provoking panel discussions with experts such as Dr. Lisa A. Cooper, a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor at Johns Hopkins University, and Dr. Joshua Sharfstein, Dr. Rosemary Morgan and Dr. Tolbert Nyenswah. They shared their wealth of knowledge on health equity and the challenges facing LMICs.
