On March 6, 2024, we had the privilege of hosting the soft launch of the Center for Advancing Health Systems Innovations (CAdHSI) at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, U.S.A.. This event marked a significant milestone in our mission to strengthen health systems and workforce capacity in both LMICs and underserved U.S. communities.

We were honored by the presence of several notable figures, including:

• The Minister of Health, Liberia

• The AU Ambassador to the U.S., H.E. Hilda Suka-Mafudze

• The Liberian Ambassador to the U.S.

• Prof. Marie Diener-West, Chair of the MPH Program at Johns Hopkins
  Additionally, we received a statement of recognition from the President of Liberia, H.E. Joseph Boakai, underscoring the importance of CAdHSI’s mission and its collaborative approach to health systems innovation.

Keynote Speech

Our keynote speaker, Ambassador Hilda Suka-Mafudze, delivered an inspiring address on:

Her insights highlighted the critical role of partnerships in driving sustainable health improvements and set the tone for the day's discussions.
